Distribution: Argentina: Misiones; Brazil: Paraná; Paraguai: Paraguari.
New record for the Paraná State.
Comments: The species is easily found on the grasses and bushes of open areas within the preserve.
Bioacoustics ( Fig. 18D–F View FIGURE 18 ): Males stridulate continually during the entire day and night. The calling song is simple, since the emitted syllables are not grouped in echemes. Each syllable presents a gradual increase of intensity until its peak, followed by a gradual decrescendo.
Dominant frequency: 28,9 ± 0,3 kHz.
Bandwidth: 4,7 ± 0,8 kHz.
Duration: Syllable: 6 ± 0,8 ms.
Mute interval: Syllable: 0,7 ± 0,17 s.
