Type:—‘Hab.: Peru, legit?’ (not located).

Note: — The name Senecio culciklattii was mentioned by Vision & Dillon (1996). However, it was not included by Beltran et al. (2006) in their recent checklist of the endemic Asteraceae of Peru. We have not seen any original material which can be assigned to this species at B, CGE, GH, JE, K and W, where Klatt’s material could be found, consequently the identity of Senecio culciklattii is uncertain to us.
