Range:— Specimens are sometimes identified as this from Bolivia, but are now assigned to Anemia flexuosa .
Anemia villosa is locally common at 900–2650 m from Colombia to Guianas, Peru, and eastern Brazil, and certainly could occur in Bolivia.
