"Long. 15, lat. 6 mill."; figured specimen herein H 14.9, D 6.78, W 5.1.

Type material.

NHMUK 1975339, one possible syntype (Cuming coll.).

Remarks.

Dohrn’s collection is known to be completely destroyed in the 1939-1945 war ( Dance 1966, Köhler 2007). The specimen fits the original measurement, although it is unknown on how many specimens Dohrn based his description. Moreover, the lack of original data on the label prevents to ascertain the status of this specimen, and the specimen is only treated as possible syntype.
