Distribution in Iran: Golestan, Mazandaran ( Amini et al. 2020).
General distribution: Azerbaijan, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belarus, Croatia, Russia (European Territory), Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Netherland, Norway, Poland, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine.
Habitat: In Europe, we collected this species in soft basidiomas Trametes -like of the tinder fungus from dead deciduous trees: Trametes trogii , T. versicolor , T. ochracea , T. gibbosa , T. pubescens , T. suaveolens , Lenzites betulinus , Cerrena unicolor , Hapalopilus rutilans , Bjerkandera adusta , etc.
Comments: Reared from fungus on Populus sp. (Salicaceae) ( Amini et al. 2020).
