Distribution in Iran: Golestan ( Amini et al. 2020).
General distribution: Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belarus, Russia (Central European Territory), Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherland, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia.
Habitat: In Europe, this species is found in a large number of species tinder fungus with soft and hard basidiomes: Bjerkandera adusta , Trichaptum fuscoviolaceum (Ehrenb.) Ryvarden , Pappia fissilis (Berk. & M.A. Curtis) Zmitr. , Fomitopsis betulina , in old dry Neolentinus cyathiformis (Schaeff.) Della Magg. & Trassin. , Pleurotus ostreatus (Jacq.) P.Kumm. , Cerioporus squamosus and Laetiporus sulphureus . This species is also often found on mycelial layer under the bark of dead deciduous trees.
