Distribution in Iran: Golestan ( Amini et al. 2020), Mazandaran ( Samin et al. 2018a; Amini et al. 2020).
New material examined: East Azarbaijan province, Arasbaran forest , 5 ex., in bracket fungus, A . Ahmadi leg., 26.vii.2015 .
General distribution: Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Belarus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Kazakhstan, Macedonia, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia (Central, North and South European Territory, East and West Siberia, Far East), Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine.
Habitat: In Europe, this species develops in basidiomes on a large number of species tinder fungus with soft or leathery consistency: different species of the genus Trametes ( T. trogii Berk. , T. ochracea , T. hirsuta , etc), Trichaptum biforme (Fr.) Ryvarden , Cerrena unicolor , Bjerkandera adusta (Willd.) P.Karst. , Inonotus obliquus (Fr.) Pilát , Inocutis dryophila (Berk.) Fiasson & Niemelä , Lenzites betulinus (L.) Fr., in old dry Cerioporus squamosus (Huds.) Quél. and Laetiporus sulphureus (Bull.) Murrill.
Comments: Reared from fungus on Populus sp. (Salicaceae) ( Amini et al. 2020). Meteorus cis (Bouché, 1834) ( Hymenoptera : Braconidae ), 2♀♀, was collected from Cis comptus in East Azarbaijan province (Arasbaran forest).
