Mesoveliidae View in CoL is represented in Argentina by two species of Mesovelia ( Coscarón 2017) View in CoL ; the genus Mesoveloidea View in CoL was recorded from this country ( Andersen 1982), but no species have been mentioned until now. Estévez et al. (2003) and Poi de Neiff (2003) previously reported both species of Mesovelia View in CoL from INR, one of which was not collected during this study: M. bila Jaczewski, 1928 View in CoL .
