Zoogeographic element. Central-Eastern European.

Distribution. Central Europe, northward to southern Sweden, soutwestern limit in the Pyrenees, Eastern Europe ( Ukraine), in south-east reaching the northern part of the Balkan Peninsula ( Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina).

Distribution in Romania. Epigeal records. Sibiu (KL77), Şura Mare (KL78), Bäile Herculane (FQ17) (all: Kuthy 1896); Comana (MJ39) (Montandon 1908); Sighişoara (LM21), Piatra Craiului (LL63) (both: Petri 1912) ( Fig. 18 View FIGURE 18 ).
