Zoogeographic element. Central-Eastern European.

Distribution. From southern part of Northern Europe to Central and Eastern Europe.

Distribution in Romania. Epigeal records. Mt. Sibiu (KL76), Mt. Bihorului (FS44) (Jeannel 1923; Petri 1926); Maramureş (LN18/19) (Jeannel 1923). Hypogeal records. P. Corobana M ândr uţului (3402/53) (FS44) (Jeannel 1923); P. de la Alunii Negri (2110/8) (FR51), P. Ponorici-Cioclovina (2063/7) (FR65), P. 9 in Varghişului gorge (1200/9)(LM82) (all: Decou 1964) ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 ).

Ecological status. Troglophile.
