Zoogeographic element. Euro-Caucasian.

Distribution. Northern and Central Europe ( Sweden, Norway, Germany, Poland), in the south from France to northern Italy, and eastward to Bosnia, Herzegovina, Ukraine and Georgia.

Distribution in Romania. Epigeal records. Oraviţa (EQ58), Mehadia (FQ07) (all: Kuthy 1896), Sighişoara (LM21), Braşov (LL85), Sibiu (KL77) (all: Petri 1912, 1926); Dumbrava Sibiu (Worell 1951). Hypogeal records. Avenul din Padina Seacä (Av. 2241/12) (ER71) (7.VIII.2007, AD leg., ISER) ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 ).

Ecological status. Trogloxene.
