Remarks. This species was described in 2013, and no new material from NTM exists. It is a cryptic species closely allied to Perinereis suluana (Horst) , but distinguishable from this species by the distinctive colour pattern ( Fig. 4 G, H). The present specimens are not sexually mature, so the metamorphosed (epitokous) form is still unknown.

Habitat. Lagoon to reef slope, associated with patch reefs in lagoon, and Halimeda and seagrass, 2– 30 m.

Type locality. Lizard Island, Great Barrier Reef.

Distribution. Lizard Island, Fiji.
