Diagnosis. Nereis species lacking pigmentation (apart from prominent glandular areas dorsally and on notopodia, and white granular pigment (in living forms)); elongate body, flattened posteriorly ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4. A C); two notopodial ligules; both homogomph spinigers and falcigers (with serrated blades) in notopodia of posterior chaetigers.

Remarks. The material probably represents a new species similar to Nereis trifasciata . Habitat. Lagoon to reef slope, associated with patch reefs in lagoon, and Halimeda .
