D i a g n o s i s (after Dietze 2000): Medial extrascapular single. Medium or deep maxillary plate. “Spiracular” bone present. Single premaxilla. Two jugals. Two dermosphenotics. Laniary teeth absent; maxillary and dentary teeth in one series. Mouth terminal. Little ornamentation of scales.
