Fea, I - 88 [i.e., 1888]"; 1 ex., "Carin, Asciuii Chebà, 800–1400 m, L. Fea, XII 87 [i.e., 1888]"; 17 exx., "Carin, Asciuii Ghecù, 1400–1500 m, L. Distribution ( Fig. 28 View FIGURES 26 – 29 ). This species has been described on the basis of numerous specimens from Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai provinces of northern Thailand. Later new records from the same area were published ( Jałoszyński 2011), and here S. difficilis is for the first time recorded from central and south-central parts of Myanmar and from the Phrae Province in northern Thailand.

Remarks. The general appearance of S. difficilis is rather unremarkable and examination of the aedeagus and spermatheca are advisable to confirm identifications. Males of this species have ventrally expanded metafemoral clava with long and erect setae ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 3 – 6 ).
