Distribution Southern KZN to East London, ECP, 7- 84 m.

Remarks

This is the first record of the species from outside KZN. Its presence, now near East London, in the South African warm temperate waters, is a noteworthy extension of its southwards range. The specimen from Station SCD 91 is a mature female measuring about 30 mm, the longest size yet recorded for the species, whereas the specimens from SCD 294 represent its deepest depth record (84 m).
