Type host. Conger orbignianus Valenciennes (Pisces: Congridae ).

Site of infection. Posterior end of intestine.

Type locality. Argentina, Buenos Aires Province, Mar del Plata (38º08ʹS, 57º32ʹW). Holotype: 3 MLP 5452. Paratypes: MLP 5453 (allotype Ƥ), MLP 5454 (533, 5ƤƤ). Reference. Timi & Lanfranchi (2006).
