Type host. Oxymycterus rufus (Fischer) (Mammalia: Cricetidae ). Site of infection. Urinary bladder.

Type locality. Argentina, Buenos Aires Province, Berazategui, Reserva Natural de Hudson (34º45ʹS, 58º06ʹW).

Holotype: 3 MLP 5752. Paratypes: MLP 5753 (allotype Ƥ), MLP 5754, MLP 5755. Reference. Robles et al. (2008a).
