Type locality. Uruguay, Canelones, Arroyo Sauce (34º52ʹS, 56º12ʹW).

Holotype: MLP 5246 (sagittally sectioned). Paratypes: MLP 5329 (1 specimen sagittally sectioned and 2 specimens whole mounted).

Remarks. Paratypes 1 sagittally sectioned and 1 prepared in toto stained deposited in the Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales de Madrid, Spain; 1 sagittally sectioned and 1 prepared in toto stained deposited in the Helminthological Collection of Facultad de Ciencias, Montevideo, Uruguay.
