Type host. Curimatorbis platanus (Günter) (Pisces: Curimatidae ). Site of infection. Intestine.

Type locality. Argentina, Buenos Aires Province, Ensenada, Boca Cerrada. Holotype: MLP 580/1. Paratypes: MLP 580/2 (2 specimens). Remarks. This species was transferred by Overstreet & Curran (2005) to the genus Chalcinotrema as Chalci-

notrema platense ( Lunaschi, 1984).
