Type localities: Bolivia, Mapiri, San Carlos, 800 m; Peru, Río Urubamba. Syntypes 3 females (at “Staatliches Museum für Tierkunde”, Dresden, German, not studied). Distrib. – Bolivia.

Comments. One specimen from Peru, housed at the NHMW collection [labeled “ Peru, Ucayali, 19.10.0 3, Unini” (green label with red lines crossing its lateral margins), “ Rhabdolauxania schnusei H., det. Hendel”, “coll. Hendel”] was examined. It was not possible to examine the type series, so no lectotype designation is made here.

Material examined. PERU: Ucayali, 19.10.0 3, Unini, 1 female ( NHMW); Madre de Dios, Manu, Rio Manu, 250m, Pakitza, 12º7’S 70º58’W, 9–23.ix.1988, A. Freiberg coll., 3 males ( USNM). BOLIVIA: Cochabamba Prov., 20 km SW Villa Tunari, Rio Uvispha, 460m, 17º01,5’S 63º31,67’W, 5–6.ix.2000, Malaise trap, S.D. Gaimari, M. Hauser & D.K.Yeates coll., 1 female ( USNM); Depto La Paz, 5 km W Mapiri, Arroyo Tuhiri, 750m, 15º17,8’S 68º15,6’W, 18.iii.2001, S.D. Gaimari, 1 female ( USNM).
