Type material. Holotype. Male , labelled: Costa Rica: S.Jose / Cart. Km 55 Int.Am.Hwy / 5 km S El Palme, 2350m // 09, 42.30 N, 83,57 W / oak forest litter 97-008 / 8 VI 97 R. S. Anderson // GoogleMaps . Paratypes. 10 males, 1 female collected with holotype GoogleMaps ; 4 males, 10 females labelled: Costa Rica: Limon / Valle de Silencio, Estación / 82°57’43’’W, 09°06’37’’N / 2473m, 26-27 II 2005, R. / Anderson oak forest litter //. Etymology. Dedicated to Jocelia Grazia, author of numerous publications increasing considerably the knowledge of Neotropical Heteroptera .

Description of holotype. Head slightly longer than wide (0.75 / 0.73), genae thin slightly surpassing apex of clypeus leaving a gap between their apices; antenniferous lobes diverging anteriorly, apex blunt; antennae about twice as long as width of head (1.4 / 0.73), segment I thickest and longest, II–IV thinner, length of antennal segments I / II / III / IV = 0.45 / 0.3 / 0.35 / 0.3; eyes oval and granulate inserted in head; postocular lobes straightly converging posteriorly to constricted neck, without distinct tubercles.

Thorax. Pronotum consisting of two oblique sclerites, medially separated by a furrow which is widening anteriorly and delimited by the thin transverse collar; surface with irregular oval callosities, lateral margins raised and granulate.

Mesonotum. Basic structure as pronotum, fused triangular median ridge is widening posteriorly, surface lateral of ridge longitudinally striate, fused mtg I and mtg II not discernible.

Metanotum. With two oval callosities lateral of median ridge, lateral margins as of pro- and mesonotum.

Abdomen. Tergal plate smooth with elevated thoracic scent gland scars on mtg III and IV, laterally with usual pattern of depressions marking the segments; deltg II–III fused, anteriorly reaching metanotum; posterolateral angles of deltg II–VII increasingly produced consisting of dorsally reflexed rim of vltg II–VII bearing the spiracles, which are hardly (II–IV) or distinctly (V–VII) visible from above.

Venter. Meso- and metasternum and fused sternites sterna I–II smooth at middle with a round impression, surface of venter granulate; apex of male vltg VII with a distinct knob—like glandular tubercle.

Male genitalic structures. Pygophore globular, its posterior face striate, parameres with wide blade-like body ( Figs. 7–9 View FIGURES 1–9 ).

Female. Basically similar to male but of larger size, tergite VII raised posteriorly, ptg VIII with rounded lobes, shorter than tergite IX.

Measurements. Holotype. Length 3.6mm; width f pronotum 1.25, of mesonotum 1.6, of metanotum 1.8; width of abdomen across tergite IV 1.8. Paratypes. Males length 3.5–3.65; females 4.3–4.5.

Distribution. Recorded from oak forest litter in high mountain localities of Costa Rica and is expected to be endemic for the area.
