Diagnosis. Body usually longer than 6 mm. Head pale green, dark green, reddish brown or variegated; vertex, pronotum and posterior end of scutellum with fine horizontal striations; pronotum comparatively wide, broadened posteriorly with posterolateral margins angulate; scutellar suture strongly angulate medially. Fore wings coarsely punctate. Male pygofer lobe broadly rounded posterior;y with small bristles, with process at inner surface on ventral margin; anal tube with appendicular process. Subgenital plate usually short, finger shaped, without setae or bristles. Style apophysis vestigial, short and stubby. Connective Y-shaped, end of each arm broader than central stem. Aedeagus with single shaft; apex with lateral lobes; gonopore between lobes (for details see Krishnankutty et al. 2016; Anufriev et al. 1988).
