Distribution in Vietnam.

Red River Delta: Vĩnh Phúc (Tam Đ ảo national park) .

South Central Coast: Khánh Hòa (Nha Trang, Cầu Đá). Phú Yên (Ðèo C ả pass) .

Central Highlands.

Type localities. Kampot ( Cambodia). Ðèo C ả pass, Phú Yên province; Nha Trang, C ầu Đá, Khánh Hòa prov- ince ( Vietnam) .

General distribution. Oriental species, kown from Cambodia, Vietnam and India.

Remarks. In the original description no type was chosen. Therefore, the listed specimens are regarded as syntypes. Syntypes in coll. Denis at MNHN.

Two species recorded in Vietnam, and some erroneously identified specimens from Hậu Giang (Lung Ngọc Hoàng natural reserve) (EC: Trần T.K.H. et al. 2017), as P. taeniatus (Koch & Berendt) in Berendt, 1854, fossil species from Baltic amber).
