Remarks. Unionicola crassipalpis is a widespread species, known from New Caledonia, New Guinea and Sulawesi. Within Australia, the species has been reported from Queensland, New South Wales and the Northern Territory ( Viets 1981, Harvey 1998), and is reported here for the first time from Western Australia.
