Henochilus wheatlandii Garman, 1890e:49 [1], Pl. 1. Type locality: Santa Clara on the Rio Mucury. [The type locality is probably incorrect; the species was never collected again in the rio Mucuri, but instead, in the rio Santo Antônio, an upper tributary of the rio Doce, Minas Gerais state, Brazil ( Vieira et al., 2000; Castro et al., 2004)]. Holotype: MCZ 21109 .

Distribution: 328 (Castro et al., 2004).
