We have not seen the specimen from the Paris Museum. Navás (1923) states: "Patria. Africa? Specimen in Museo Paris ita inscriptum: Lib. Pinang, à la lumière". We found several Oriental localities with this name (https:// en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ Pinang) but none in Africa. The doubtful species probably came from Asia and is excluded from the African fauna .
