Description. 5th instar larva (fig. 11).
Body length. 3.1–3.6 mm.
Metope with median keel not reaching its apical margin, but extending through postclypeus and 2 sublateral keels reaching its apical margin. Metope with 7 sensory pits outside of each sublateral keel and 4 pits apically inside of each lateral keel. Coryphe truncated apically, posterior margin obtusely angulated. Pronotum with median keel; 3 isolated pits in discal group, 3 closely connected pits in posterolateral subgroup, 1 isolated and 2 connected pits in paradiscal group, 1 pit in humeral group and 1–2 pits in pectoral group. Mesonotum with median and lateral keels; 4 pits in median paradiscal group and 1pit in lateral group. Metanotum with median and lateral keels and without pits. Each side of abdominal tergites IV–VII and IX with 3 lateral pits, tergite VIII with 1–2 lateral pits. Hind tibia with 1 lateral tooth and 7 (2 lateral and 5 intermediate) socle setae apically. Metatarsomere I with 8 (2 lateral and 6 intermediate) socle setae apically. Claws with a pair of long setae proximally.
Coloration. Upper side of the body dark brown but anterior wing pads yellowish light brown. Metope yellowish light brown with 2 indistinct wide transverse brown bands. Clypeus dark brown excluding median line. Rostrum with 2nd segment yellowish dorsally and dark brown ventrally and dark brown 3rd segment. Bottom yellowish light brown. Femora with dark brown subapical transverse band. Fore and middle tibiae with 3 dark brown transverse bands and dark apices. Hind tibiae with 3 indistinct dark brown transverse bands and light apices. Teeth of hind tibiae with dark brown apices. Fore tarsi dark brown. Middle tarsi also dark brown excluding second tarsus bearing wide light brown middle stripe. Hind tarsi yellowish light brown with dark brown 3rd tarsus and black teeth.
