Male 7.0 mm long, 2.8 mm wide across hind margin of pronotum. Head from antennal ledges to hind margin of pronotum dark brown, face below the antennal ledges pale yellowish brown; clypellus with dark brown shading; scutellum dark brown with lateral margin yellow. Forewing vitreous, external claval margin narrowly black; veins pale brown ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 A, B).

Male pygofer with caudal margin nearly straight in lateral view, with submariginal macrosetae ( Fig. 14 View FIGURE 14 A). Subgenital plates subtriangular, depressed, shorter than pygofer, curved ventrally in lateral view, with several fine setae laterally on ventral margin ( Fig. 14 View FIGURE 14 F). Style elongate, apodeme wider, slightly longer than apophysis, curved antero-dorsally, apophysis slightly widened near apex and curved ventrally, then tapered to apex ( Fig. 14 View FIGURE 14 D, E). Aedeagus simple, curved dorsally, without processes, subapex slightly widened and truncate apcially; gonopore apical ( Fig. 14 View FIGURE 14 C).

Material examined. THAILAND: Holotype ♂, Tak, Sam Ngao (as “Ngow”), 31.v.1959 [ BMNH]; 1♂, Loei, Na Haeo FIRS, 16.v.2003 (P. Grootaert, 23029) [ RISB].

Note. This species was described from Thailand by Evans (1972), based on one male specimen deposited in The Natural History Museum, London.
