Ex Neotoma magister (Allegheny woodrat) nest: 2M, 3F, TN, Blount Co., the Sinks, 17 Oct. 1949, D. W. Pfitzer (Pfitzer 1950, Benton 1980, Durden & Kollars 1997).

This flea parasitizes woodrats ( Neotoma ) in the eastern and central United States including Tennessee (Durden & Kollars 1997, Durden et al. 1997b).
