Type depository.

Type locality and habitat.

Brazil, Minas Gerais State, Sacramento, in galleries of unidentified bark beetles ( Coleoptera , Curculionidae , Scolytinae ), in Pinus sp. ( Pinaceae ).

Remarks.

Although Flechtmann and Flechtmann (1985) stated 28 pairs of setae in the original description of this species, 29 pairs of asymmetrically situated setae can be seen in their illustration.
