Diagnosis

Female clava with spinelike process ( Figure 2 View Figure 2 (c)) and preclaval segment with apical margin slightly angulate along side of clava; male antenna filiform with segments separated by short pedicel, with conspicuous decumbent setae. Head with upper parascrobal region cristate ( Figure 2 View Figure 2 (b)). Pronotum medially almost as long as broad ( Figure 2 View Figure 2 (d)). Notauli not distinctly percurrent ( Figure 2 View Figure 2 (d)). Metafemur greatly enlarged, with ventral comb of teeth and metatibia uniformly curved and ventroapically extended into acutely angled lobe over base of metatibial spurs ( Bouček and Rasplus 1991; Gibson 2003).
