5. Coloana latiprocessa Yang & Zhang View in CoL sp. nov.

(Fig. 5)

Description. Holotype with anterior dorsum light brown, crescent patches pale, frontoclypeal area and anteclypeus lighter than anterior dorsum, gena and lorum pale. Paratype (removed from alcohol) lighter than holotyoe, crescent patches indistinct.

Male 2S abdominal apodemes (Fig. 5g) very short and narrow, not extended to hind margin of 3rd sternite.

Pygofer dorsal appendage (Fig. 5a) short and thin, not reached hind margin of pygofer side, tapering towards apex, straightly directed ventro-caudad basally and slightly curved dorsad apically. Subgenital plate (Figs 5a, c) slightly curved dorsad in lateral view, much longer than style. Style (Fig. 5d) with apical part straight. Aedeagal shaft (Fig. 5e, f) broadened basally and narrowing subbasally, apical 3/4 almost equal in thickness, apical processes long, almost straight, subapex with pair of tiny fingerlike processes; dorsal apodeme long, preatrium short and narrow in lateral view.

Measurement: length male 4.30mm.

Material examined: Holotype: ♂, China, Yunnan Prov., Mengyuan, 1000m, 18 xii 1999, coll. I. Dworakowska. Paratype: 1♂, Thailand, Loei, Phu Ruea NP, Nature tail, 17°30.74'N, 101°20.65'E, 1353m, 26 iii–2 iv 2007, Malaise trap, coll. Patikhom Tumtip.

Deposition. Holotype is deposited in Entomological Museum, NWAFU, Yangling, China; paratype in QSBG, Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Remarks: The new species is similar to C. arcuata Dworakowska , but differs in having the pygofer dorsal appendage shorter and slightly curved dorsad apically, the aedeagal shaft with a pair of small fingerlike processes preapically and the apical processes longer.

Etymology: The specific name is derived from the Latin prefix “ lat -” and Latin word “ processus ”, referring to the aedeagal shaft with preapical processes on both sides.
