Specimens Examined. PA N A M A: To l é, Champion (Holotype, BMNH). COSTA RICA, Heredia Pr., Est. Biol. La Selva., 50–150 m, INBio- OET, 10°26′ N 84°01′ W, 05.01.1994, FOT/16/38 [canopy fogging sample], Vitex cooperi View in CoL [Standl., Verbenaceae View in CoL ] (INBC, INBIOCRI002300589), Prov. Punt., Rancho Quemado, Peninsula de Osa, 200m, L-N-292500, 511000, 09.1991, F. Quesada (2, INBC, INBIOCRI001190821, -3).
Discussion. The Costa Rican specimens are a new country record. Specimens range from 2.55 to 2.75 mm in length. The specimen taken from V. cooperi by fogging does not necessarily use that species as a larval host, but may have come from an associated liana, although one undescribed species in the new genus does use a species in the Verbenaceae as a larval host.
