Type species. Diptiloplatus megagrastis Keifer, 1975a: 23–24 .

Diagnosis. Body fusiform; gnathosoma large, abruptly curved and bent down near base; scapular setae (sc) and tubercles ahead of rear shield margin; genual II seta absent, empodium divided; coxae I and coxae II each with 3 setae; opisthosoma with a furrow.

This genus consists of 2 species ( Amrine et al. 2003). Only one species has been recorded from Southeast Asia.
