Type locality: Phong Tho [Phong Tho District, Lai Chau Province, Vietnam], Muong Bo [probably refers to the Nam Sai Commune, Sa Pa District, Lao Cai Province, Vietnam]. Bavay and Dautzenberg 1909c: 282, 283, pl. 10, figs 11, 12. Schileyko 2011: 10.

Material examined.

Syntype MNHN-IM-2000-4661 from "Muong-Bo et Phong-Tho" (1 shell; Fig. 21F). Specimens from Tarng Kong, Ban Phak Kard village, Pek District, Xieng Khaung Province (Figs 21G, 55C).
