Colonies are circle, raised, entire and yellow-colored after 2 days on R2A at 25℃ Positive reaction is obtained for β-galactosidase in API 20NE, and negative reactions are obtained for nitrate reduction, indole production, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, urease, esculin hydrolysis and gelatinase. Dglucose, Larabinose, N acetylglucosamine, potassium gluconate and malic acid are utilized. Does not utilize Dmannose, Dmannitol, Dmaltose, capric acid, adipic acid, trisodium citrate and phenylacetic acid.
