Sphex concinnus Rossi, 1790:66 View in CoL , sex not indicated. Syntypes: Italy: Etruria , now Toscana: no specific locality (destroyed).

Geographic distribution. Widespread in southern and central Europe, northwards to southern Germany, eastwards to southeastern parts of European Russia and Turkey (Bitsch et. al. 1997, Pulawski 2020).

Material examined: Italy: ♀, 16.VII.1987, Falconara ; Croatia, ♀, 17.VII.2014, Krk, Stara Baska (coll CSE) .
