Genetic data. On BOLD, under the name of Z. dentigera there is a larger cluster with five different BINs. In Ethiopia two BINs, BOLD:ACF4813 (n=5 from Ethiopia (Bale mts), Ghana, Sierra Leone, Central African Republic; maximum variation 0.5%) and BOLD:AAJ9516 (n=6 from western Ethiopia and Cameroon; maximum variation 0.5%), are represented, at a distance of 2.0% from each other. However, no morphological differences emerged in male genitals of Ethiopian species from different BINs and in that illustrated by Fletcher (1974).
Distribution. Angola, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe ( Fletcher 1974; Pinhey 1975; Herbulot 1998; Sircoulomb 2007). New for the fauna of Ethiopia.
