Material. Specimen IGR-PAL-3000 (a compression, without counter part, of a nearly complete adult), housed in the collection of the Geological Department and Museum of the University of Rennes, France (IGR).

Locality and horizon. Latest Miocene, diatom paleomaar, Sainte-Reine (quarry of Foufouilloux, Virargues village), near Murat, Cantal, France.

Description. Forewing 18.35 mm long and ca. 4.95 mm wide. Three main brown stripes on wing membrane, first ca. 0.39 and second ca. 0.70 of wing length, third along apical margin. Sc closer to C than to R, mostly parallel to C, nearly contacting R slightly distad wing mid length; R broadly separated from Sc before its fork, with five main branches and a strong stem (ORs), R forked near wing mid length; medial field relatively small, M fork located slightly distad wing mid-length; CuA long simple, slightly bend near mcua crossvein; two cua-cup crossvein; CuP simple; one cup-a crossvein; 1A simple nearly straight; two 1a-2a crossveins; 2A basally fused with 3A anteriorly curved.
