Updated checklist of Myospila View in CoL View at ENA species from India
The first fundamental and voluminous work on Muscidae in India was initiated by Emden (1965). Thereafter a series of research articles including new species and synonyms were published over time on this group but data about the number of species along with their distributions have no precise notes. The checklist on Indian Muscidae by Bharti (2008) reported a total of 12 Myospila species. This current paper updates the checklist of Myospila species from India to a total of 19 species, including one new species.
