Type material: Holotype: female: EQUATORIAL GUINEA: Bioko ( MNHN 24986 View Materials ) (examined).

Other material: 1 ♀: CAMEROON: Southwest Province, Fako Division., Limbe Subdiv., 1.4 km north-east of Etome , c. 400 m, 04°02′58.58″N, 09°07′31.43″E, 13–19.i.1992, Larcher, Hormiga, Coddington, Griswold, Wanzie ( CAS) GoogleMaps .

Male palp ( Fig. 35A, B View Figure 35 ): RTA pointing downward, broad, parallel-sided, tip obliquely truncated with distal margin slightly serrated, inferior tip rounded. PTA fairly long, inserted far backward. Embolus large, with broad base, strongly tapered to pointed tip, curved. MA cup-shaped, membranous. FC small, situated at onset of narrow part of embolus. Proximal part of tegulum very broad, with frontal extension with rounded and pointed parts; PAPT large, pointed, retrolateral side sinuous. RAPT thin rod pointing forward.

Diagnosis: Females of P. septemaculeata are recognized by the epigyne with a semicircular posterior depression preceded by a procurved fold.

Description: Female (holotype, MNHN 24986). Total l 3.95.

Carapace greyish brown, covered by tiny warts forming a network with polygonal meshes. Carapace l: 1.85; w: 1.50. Sternum pale yellow brown, warted, l: 0.95; w: 1.05. Abdomen greyish brown, without do scutum. Legs pale brown, covered by fine warts.

Leg spination: fe: I pl 0-0-2; IV do 0-0-1; ti: I ve 2-2-2-2-2-2-2; II ve 2-2-2-2-2-2-2; III pl 0-1-0; IV pl 0-1-0 plv 0-0-1; mt: I ve 2-2-2-2; II ve 2-2-2-2; III pl 0-1-0 ve 0-2-0; IV pl 1-0-0 rl 1-0-0 ve 2-0-2.

Epigyne ( Fig. 35E View Figure 35 ): posterior margin shallowly concave; centre with small, shallow, semicircular depression; anterior part with central longitudinal groove; anteriorly with small, curved fold on either side.

Male unknown.

Known geographical distribution: Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon ( Fig. 40 View Figure 40 ).
