Type:— MADAGASCAR. “Madagascar”, L. Humblot 451 (holotype P 00482607!, isotypes K, P 00482606!)

The most recent description of T. cupressoides was published by Tardieu-Blot (1951) and is based essentially on Malagasy specimens, a mixture of A. «cupressoides » and A. «rigidum ». The original description proposed by Desvaux (1827) is quite incomplete. We thus provide a new enhanced description of Trichomanes cupressoides based on the Seychellois specimens.
