Material examined. Taghzoute, 20.xii.2020, 1♂, 1♀, 26.xii.2020, 1♂, 28.xii.2020, 2♀♀, 1.i.2021, 1♂, 03.i.2021, 1♂, 05.i.2021, 1♂, 11.i.2021, 1♂, 13.i.2021, 1♂, reared from Artemisia barrelieri Besser (El Harym) ( LESCB) .

Distribution. Canary Islands: Tenerife, Ladera Guimar ( Merz 1992). Morocco (first record). The first record from North Africa.

Host plant. Artemisia thuscula Cav. ( Merz 1992) . In our study, the species was reared from Artemisia herbaalba subsp. barrelieri Besser.
