Diagnosis. The new species is very similar to Neocyrtopsis (Neocyrtopsis) variabilis ( Xia & Liu, 1992) , but differs from the latter by: metazona with 3 black longitudinal stripes ( Figs. 1B View FIGURE 1 , 2B View FIGURE 2 ), the posterior concavity of male subgenital plate wider and shallower ( Fig. 1I View FIGURE 1 ), posterior margin of female subgenital plate arched ( Fig. 2E View FIGURE 2 ). While in Neocyrtopsis (Neocyrtopsis) variabilis ( Xia & Liu, 1992) , metazona of pronotum almost black, and the posterior concavity of male subgenital plate narrower and deeper, posterior margin of female subgenital plate straight with shallow concavity in the middle.

Description. Male. Body small and stout. Fastigium verticis conical, apex rounded, protruding forward, dorsal surface with 1 median furrow ( Fig. 1B View FIGURE 1 ). Eyes globular, protruding laterally. Apical segment of maxillary palpus longer than subapical one, apex swollen ( Fig. 1C View FIGURE 1 ).

Pronotum short, anterior margin straight, posterior margin obtusely rounded, transversal sulci indistinct ( Fig. 1B View FIGURE 1 ); metazona obviously elevated, posterior area of lateral lobes narrowing ( Fig. 1C View FIGURE 1 ).

Tegmina brachypterous, mostly concealed beneath pronotum, apices reaching the middle area of first abdominal tergite ( Fig. 1C View FIGURE 1 ); hind wings absent.

Procoxae with 1 spine ( Fig. 1C View FIGURE 1 ). All femora unarmed on ventral surface, apices of genicular lobes with 1 pair of small spines on both sides ( Fig. 1L–M View FIGURE 1 ). Protibiae with 4 internal and 4–5 external spines on ventral surface, apices with 1 pair of short spines on ventral surface; tibial tympana long ovate, open on both sides ( Fig. 1B View FIGURE 1 ). Mesotibiae tibiae with 4–6 internal and 5–6 external spines on ventral surface. Posttibiae with 17–21 internal and 18–22 external spines on dorsal surface, 1 pair of dorsal apical spurs and 2 pairs of ventral apical spurs ( Fig. 1J–K View FIGURE 1 ).

Posterior margin of tenth abdominal tergite prolonged, with a wide median concave, lateral lobes rounded ( Fig. 1H View FIGURE 1 ). Epiproct tongue-shaped, apex widely rounded, fused with the preceding tergite ( Fig. 1E View FIGURE 1 ). Cerci long, visible in dorsal view, basal half stout, narrowing to apex; apical half hooked and curved internally and dorsally, internal margin concave ( Fig. 1G View FIGURE 1 ). Subgenital plate trapezoidal, basal area broad, narrowing to apex, lateral margins curved dorsally and forming one pair of parallel carinae, posterior margin with a triangular concavity ( Fig. 1I View FIGURE 1 ). Styli medium length, inserted on apico-lateral margins of subgenital plate. Genitalia sclerotized, broad in base, narrowing, apex directing upward (Fig. 12G–H).

Female. Pronotum shorter than male, metazoan slightly elevated, humeral sinus indistinct ( Fig. 2C View FIGURE 2 ). Tegmina concealed beneath pronotum, laterally ( Fig. 2C View FIGURE 2 ); hind wings absent. Cerci conical, subapical area tapered off to a point, apex obtuse ( Fig. 2E View FIGURE 2 ). Subgenital plate nearly rectangular in ventral view, longer than wide, the lateral margins curved dorsally, posterior margin arched ( Fig. 2E View FIGURE 2 ). Ovipositor relatively broad, slightly upcurved, dorsal and ventral margins smooth, apices acute ( Fig. 2D View FIGURE 2 ).

Coloration. Body variegated, mainly yellowish brown. Eyes brown with black stripe along the central axis. Face with blackspots as Figs. 1A View FIGURE 1 and 2A View FIGURE 2 . Dorsal surface of head with three black longitudinal stripes, the middle one extending to occipital sulcus, the outer stripes with 1 longitudinal yellow steipe on external side ( Figs. 1B View FIGURE 1 , 2B View FIGURE 2 ). Disc of pronotum with a yellow and a black longitudinal stripe on each side; metazona with 1 black longitudinal stripe along the midline; lateral lobes with large black spots ( Figs. 1B View FIGURE 1 , 2B View FIGURE 2 ). Legs with black brown spots or stripes. Dorsal surface of abdomen brown with yellowish band along the midline. Tibial spines blackish brown.

Measurements (mm). Body: ♂ 12.4, ♀ 12.1; pronotum: ♂ 5.4, ♀ 4.9; postfemora: ♂ 13.1, ♀ 13.0; ovipositor: 7.5.

Material examined. Holotype: male, Yangmeiao, Jiuwanshan, Rongshui , Guangxi, August 5, 2021, coll. by Wei Bin . Paratype: 1 female, Yangmeiao, Jiuwanshan, Rongshui , Guangxi, August 6, 2021, coll. by Wei Bin .

Distribution. Guangxi (Rongshui).

Etymology. The name of the new species derives from Greek tri (three) plus strig (stripe), referring to metazoan of pronotum with 3 black longitudinal stripes.
