Phialella belgicae ( Hartlaub, 1904)

Material examined. TAN0602/420, a few hydrothecae, on Staurotheca glomulosa Peña Cantero, Svoboda & Vervoort, 1997 ( NIWA 144240).

Ecology and distribution. Present material, representing the first record of P. belgicae for the Balleny Islands, was collected at a depth of 103−108 m off Sturge Island, epibiotic on S. glomulosa .
