Hylaeus (Hylaeus) dorni Dathe, 1986a: 294–295 View in CoL [male, Mongolia: Chono Kharaikh River].
Diagnosis. Body shiny; integument of face smooth, marks on paraocular area of male well developed, middle of face (portion below and beside antennal sockets) deeply concave.
Description of Female. Measurements: BL 6.15mm; WL 4.66mm; HL 1.68mm; HW 1.76mm; CI 1.44; SI 3.43.
Coloration: Black. The following yellowish: marks on paraocular area strip-shaped, along eye margin and not beyond the level of lower margin of antennal socket; band interrupted in the middle on pronotal collar, pronotal lobe, anterior mark on tegula; apical small spots on all femora, anterior mark on fore tibia, basal spot on middle tibia, basal halves mark on hind tibia, all basitarsi. Underside of flagellum brownish yellow; apical portion of clypeus brown; apical portion of mandible brown; mediotarsus and distitarsus brown; wings subhyaline, veins and stigma brown to yellow; apical bands of T1 to T4 brownish subhyaline.
Structure: Body shiny as male; clypeus moderately shiny, basal portion longitudinally wrinkled-punctate, punctures fine and sparse to scattered, apical portion slightly convex and smooth with larger and closer punctures; paraocular area shiny, diagonal wrinkled-punctate, punctures elongated and becoming larger and sparser near eye; lower portion of supraclypeal area moderately shiny and longitudinally wrinkled, basal portion with some fine punctures, upper portion of supraclypeal gently merging into frons, convex with fine and subcontiguous to dense punctures, median sulcus distinct; frons with minute to fine and subcontiguous to sparse punctures; gena moderately shiny and wrinkled-punctate, punctures elongated and becoming smaller near lower portion; pronotal collar thickened and attenuated toward middle; mesoscutum slightly convex, shiny with fine and close to sparse punctures; scutellum convex and shiny, punctures slightly larger and sparser than those on mesoscutum; metanotum convex, slightly shiny with fine and close punctures; mesopleuron shiny with fine and dense punctures; propodeal TRN, OBL and lateral carinae nearly absent, lateral area rough, posterior portion of propodeal enclosure slightly concave, basal portion and lateral margins with irregular punctures, center and apical portion smooth; T1 shiny with minute and sparse to scattered punctures; T2 and following terga moderately shiny with minute to fine and closer punctures than those on T1.
Pilosity: Hairs yellowish white; hairs on apical margin of clypeus very sparse; hairs on mandible long; hairs on hind margin of vertex long and dense; hairs on back of thorax short and sparse; hairs on posterior portion of propodeal enclosure dense; hairs on center apical margin of S5 short and very dense; hairs on T4 to T6 and S4 to S6 long.
