Attems 1907: 90 (as Lithobius rectifrons n. sp.)

Type locality and specimens. Fundort [locality]: Tjibodas [Cibodas] (28.III.04, 2♂).

Dimensions. Länge [length] 12 mm, Breite etwas über 1,5 mm [width some more than 1.5 mm].

Type material. Syntypes 2 ( ZMH-A0000702-703 ). INDONESIA: West Java, Cibodas [ca. 6°30’S, 107°00’E] .

Preservation. 2 jars. Jar 1 ( ZMH-A 0000702): Label. Lithobius rectifrons Att. Typus, Krpln L. 28.III.04, Tjibodas Java (Kraepelin handwriting). Jar 2 ( ZMH-A 0000703): Label. Lithobius rectifrons Att. Typus, Krpln L. 28.III.04, Tjibodas Java (Kraepelin handwriting).

Additional material. There is 1♂ (syntype) from W-Java, Tjibodas (coll. Karl Kraepelin 28.03.1904) held at the NHMW (no. 4140) .

Old type catalogue. Weidner (1960), p. 72, No. 6. Holotype, 1 paratype.

Collection remarks. The specimens were collected by Karl Kraepelin during his voyage to India and Java 1903–04.

Current systematic position. Australobius rectifrons ( Attems, 1907) ; transferred by Attems (1953: 151).
