Diagnosis. This species is similar to H. pseudobrunneus  and H. latusincertus  by having similar palps, but can be distinguished by the small patellar apophysis and the slightly convex posterior margin of embolus ( Figs 12A–C View Figure , 13A–C View Figure , Wang et al. 2010: 85, figs 363, 364, 367–369). The species is also similar to H. exilis  but can be distinguished by the short patellar apophysis, the bifurcate conductor, and the long median apophysis which with a pointed end ( Figs 9A–C View Figure , 12A–C View Figure ).

Variation: Total length varies from 8.00 to 10.30.
