Diagnosis. This species is similar to H. pseudobrunneus  and H. latusincertus  by having similar palps, but can be distinguished by the small patellar apophysis and the slightly convex posterior margin of embolus ( Figs 12A–CView FIGURE 12, 13A–CView FIGURE 13, Wang et al. 2010: 85, figs 363, 364, 367–369). The species is also similar to H. exilis  but can be distinguished by the short patellar apophysis, the bifurcate conductor, and the long median apophysis which with a pointed end ( Figs 9A–CView FIGURE 9, 12A–CView FIGURE 12).

Variation: Total length varies from 8.00 to 10.30.
