Diagnosis. It is similar to H. pseudobrunneus  and H. incertus  by having a similar epigyne and palps, but the males can be distinguished by the broad conductor; the females can be distinguished by the large atrium, the atrial ridges extending posteriorly near epigastric furrow, and the extended anterior spermathecae ( Figs 13–14View FIGURE 13View FIGURE 14).

Variation: Total length varies from 11.11 to 12.91.
